GIRLS SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE

6^TH, 7^TH, 8^TH GRADE LEAGUES

(BASED ON SCHOOL YEAR FALL 2008)

Thursday Nights: June 19-July 24   

Where:

South Milwaukee High School Field House - Facility is air-conditioned and has wood courts.

Entry fee:

$450.00 per team. $425 for two or more teams from same club
 

Format:       

·         The 2008 Summer League has been improved, more basketball in a shorter period of time!  This year we will play 10 games over 6 weeks as opposed to 8 games over 7 weeks.  We have also eliminated the end of summer tournament because there were so many conflicts with vacations and other sports in early August.  These changes will allow the league to end 2 weeks earlier.

·         No AAU teams will be accepted. School/Community only   

·         One adult from each team to assist at official table     

·         18-minute halves, continuous play.

·         Clock will stop last 1 minute of each half.

·         Based on 8 teams per grade level.

·         15 players maximum per team.

·         Concession stand
